Ibiza, Spain: Sa Caleta Playa Es Bol Nou
 Sa CaletaThis beach is called Bol Nou - it is actually the restaurant which is called "Sa Caleta", but those are the signs you have to follow to find it! It is the next bay round from cool, chic Playa Jondal - and couldn't be more different. This is much more of a local's beach. The red cliffs backing the sand are quite beautifully distinctive and the water is unbelievably warm (great for little ones). It is too shallow for the yachting set to moor, so it tends to appeal to those of a more limited budget. The one restaurant was doing a fantastic trade: mainly in impressive-looking fish dishes and there was a small stall selling hippy paraphernalia. We liked this beach. MORE... |
