 San AntoniThis is the famous "egg" sculpture in the middle of San Antoni. Colombus is believed to have been born in Ibiza. The story goes that when he was seeking finance for his voyage to the Indies via the western route, he was told the route was impossible. He then asked if it was impossible to stand an egg upright. When his would-be financiers said that it was, he produced an egg, cracked its base and stood it upright - thus disproving them. Apparently he was then given the funding.
