 Cala Conta, Platjes des ComtesThis is a staggeringly beautiful scattering of beaches, close to San Antoni, with 7 or 8 little islands, providing a fabulous view (some are close enough to swim to). You can get here by car or ferry from San Antoni, if you don't have a hire car. Cala Conta, Platjes des Comtes This is a staggeringly beautiful scattering of beaches, close to San Antoni, with 7 or 8 little islands, providing a fabulous view (some are close enough to swim to). You can get here by car or ferry from San Antoni, if you don't have a hire car. Apparently it gets packed in the high season, but we were here early morning - before the restaurants were even ready to serve us a coffee, so it was peaceful. There are three beaches here - two sandy ones and a smaller cove used by naturists. A few parasols, pedaloes and sunloungers are available for hire but this is a protected, guarded beach with no motorsports allowed, so it is mainly as nature intended. The restaurant on the cliff was serving a mixture of Asian and African food and the DJs play here to the background of fantastic sunsets. Rumour has it that Rod Stewart has a holiday pad at one of the quieter coves near here.
