 Cala Jondal, IbizaWow! This has got to be the coolest, most up-market beach on Ibiza. This is where the rich and famous come to be with other rich and famous. You can smell the money evaporating from the yachts, the designer swim wear and the exclusive restaurants. Champagne and sangria are served direct to your sunlounger, (with its sprung mattress and freshly laundered Egyption white cotton sheet, of course) or drinks are even brought directly to your yacht. Don't fancy walking over the pebbles to reach the sandy bit of the sea? No problem. A little sea-bridge has been built over the bumpy bits to save your tender toes. MORE... |

You can smell the money evaporating from the yachts, the designer swim wear and the exclusive restaurants. Champagne and sangria are served direct to your sunlounger, (with its sprung mattress and freshly laundered Egyption white cotton sheet, of course) or drinks are even brought directly to your yacht. Don't fancy walking over the pebbles to reach the sandy bit of the sea? No problem. A little sea-bridge has been built over the bumpy bits to save your tender toes. There are two large, exclusive restaurants bordering the beach - the Blue Marlin and Tropicana, who look after their special clients and play cool trance and house music to entertain them. A masseur is on hand to ease away their stresses and strains and they can even buy their designer hippy wear from a stall between the restaurants. Perhaps not a good place to take photographs though... We were eyed rather suspiciously... Which is why we took this one from the edge, where we wouldn't offend quite as many people.
