Bora Bora, Playa den Bossa, Ibiza Playa d'en Bossa is the longest beach on the island of Ibiza and is ideally situated between the airport and Ibiza town. As well as countless miles of gorgeous, golden sand and a huge range of (mainly self-catering) accommodation, this is the place to enjoy all that beach life has to offer, plus some of the best clubs on the island. This is where you will find SPACE and ... Bora Bora. Here, you can sail, windsurf, waterski, dive or take a pedalo or banana boat. If the wind gets up, its even good for surfing too. There are plenty of facilities for families as well as clubbers and a wealth of bars, restaurants and shops, including a hippy market. The area just behind the beach is packed with a range of exclusive and not-quite-so-trendy bars. Some of these will serve your champagne and sangria direct to your sunlounger and have air conditioning indoors. In the evening, there are plenty of bars for your pre-club drinks. Of course, The most well known area here is Bora Bora - about in the middle of the beach. Here you can see and be seen at the Beachbars playing club music while you lounge in the hot sun with your cool drink. This is probably the coolest place on Ibiza to groove horizontally. Incidentally, the facilities for wheelchair users are very good here. There is a shaded area specifically for the use of those who find it tricky to get about on the sand and special sand crutches are available too. There is significant aeroplane noise on this beach, but this didn't seem to be worrying anyone when we were there! Playa d en Bossa, Bora Bora - Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain. Review by Corinne.
