Figueretes is really a suburb of Ibiza town and one of the older resorts on the island. For this reason, it doesn't have the spacious, modern hotels and apartments in the same way as other, newer developments - but we liked it for this. It feels more authentically Ibiza.
There are two main sandy beaches, separated by a rocky outcrop. Busy streets lead down onto the front, where the palm tree-lined promenade offers the usual choice of bars and restaurants. It is ideally positioned between Ibiza Old town and the happening party beach at Playa d'en Bossa.
You can buy your club tickets here for all over the island - Pasha, Space, Amnesia, Es Paradis, Privelege, Eden and El Divino - or just stay in the area, where there are cocktail bars, restaurants with great music and food and drink all night.
